Question: Have you ever encountered a "culture of silence" or "Organizational silence" in a workplace?According to Spector(2012, p. 57), " Discuss how organizational silence can be overcome, particularly in the context of a diverse global workforce.
My personal experience: "I was once employed in a workplace characterized by a toxic environment where employees felt compelled to keep silent about inappropriate behavior due to the fear of retaliation under Title VII. Unfortunately, I, too, became a victim of a hostile work environment where I was falsely accused of inappropriate conduct following a Quid pro quo. This was an extremely distressing experience that had a severe impact on both my emotional and physical well-being, leaving me feeling overwhelmed and vulnerable. It was a challenging time I wouldn't wish on anyone, and I'm grateful to have moved on from it."
