The project aims to provide sanctuary and livelihood to women and children of violence- for according to Caecent No-ot Magsumbol of The Freeman newspaper, there has been an increase in the cases relating to violence against women and children in Cebu City in 2022, with 81 arrested and 332 victims. There had already been an action of providing sanctuary for the victims. However, they are only allowed to an overnight stay. With that, it has been a problem for the victims to find other places to stay. With (insert project name), it assures VAWC victims have a place they can call home where they are safe and valued. Moreover, the project provides livelihood programs that teach them new skills and gives them job opportunities so that they can fend for themselves.
