The topic of the individual paper will focus on Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory practices. We will discuss JIT in Chapter 20.

Your research will take you to sites discussing JIT manufacturing, Lean Manufacturing and other spin offs that affect JIT inventory. Many of these topics "tie together" with JIT. Just remember, the focus is JIT inventory and the various tools to make it work. Include in your paper the type(s) of decision making tools used for JIT, effects, positives and negatives, plus any other items that will make your paper stand out and show you understand the subject. This is an accounting paper include facts and figures to illustrate your findings. Include an historical perspective as well. Where did it begin, evolve, etc. include names, dates, facts. This assignment is not expected to produce a general overview of JIT inventory, include specifics. The length of the paper dictates that the information be concise and addressing the topic.

The extent of your research is an individual matter. The expectations the paper's content is outlined above. There should be a minimum of five citations- at least one must be from the UIU Library. The paper must be written in APA format. If you need assistance with APA format, ask the library or go online to APA format
