Find the following critical numbers: a. 90% confidence interval for n = 13 b. 98% confidence interval for n = 15 c. 80% confidence interval for n = 45 d. 95% confidence interval for n = 22 2. The specifications for a golf ball is that the ball weighs no more than 1.62 ounces. Every manufactured lot of golf balls have a random sample of 20 balls removed and tested. One particular random lot of 20 balls is weighed and it's found the average weight is 1.613 ounces with the standard deviation is 0.065 oz. Assume the weights of the balls are approximately normally distributed. Using a 1% level of significance, perform a test to determine if this lot of ball bearings is acceptable. 3. Compare this result to what you found last week (confidence intervals). Which method do you think answers the question better? Explain
