A supplier in Brazil who has a branch office in Cape Town South Africa uses the above article to influence Edward to conclude a sale to, import "bone-in" chicken from Brazil for re-sale at KwaMashu. Mr Edward orders and pays in advance for one ton "bone-in" chicken. Mr Edward's supplier in Brazil, only supplied one hundred kilograms of "bone-in" chicken. The chickens arrive late from Brazil. Mr Edward has already advertised the chickens at R30.00 per kg. Study the article and circumstances indicated above carefully and identify the various violations that are in contravention of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.Advise Thando and Edward of all their consumer rights that has been violated by the supplier, including, but not limited to, marketing and quality of goods.
