Quick Guide on Business Writing

Instructions:need to make a quick start guideon business writingfor your company's employees to refer to. Here are the specifications.

• Eight-page booklet (including cover)
• Page size: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 inches
• Graphic design:
  • Striking cover design
  • Ample white space
  • Appropriate use of subheads and bold typeface
  • At least three (3) images
  • Bulleted or numbered lists
  • 12-point type for body
• Topics to cover:
  • Email etiquette
  • Grammatical and mechanical pitfalls
  • Frequently confused words
  • Tips on style
  • Large images of letter and memo formats on pages 6 and 7.
  • Bibliography on page 8 (back cover)
• Due to the limited space in the booklet, narrow the scope of information. Focus on the most common errors or areas where your own writing needs improvement.
• Submit the finished guide as a PDF.
• On a separate sheet of paper, provide a bibliography of your references for this project. That should includeManagement Communication,Chapter 2, pages 2-3. Be sure to visit the links on page 3. You may also reference earlier handouts or articles used in this course. To create your bibliography (in MLA or APA), you may use acitation generatorDownload citation generatorsuch as that on Microsoft Word.

IMPORTANT:This guide is aboutbusiness writing! That is it. Do not add extra information or change the assignment. I do not want an employee manual or a flyer or a business proposal.

All you need to cover are the topics listed plainly in the directions. If any of that information is missing, you lose points. This booklet should be eight pages. Do not use visuals of the topics to cover them. Find the information and present it plainly for your audience.
