R - Realistic or Relevant The measurable parts of a goal must NEVER be too easy or too difficult. lfyour GPA is currently a 1.5 and your goal is to obtain a cumulative 3.0 GPA , it may not be realistic to expect to make that great of an increase in one semester. You may be able to break larger goal into smaller objectives. For example ,"At the end of the Spring, lwould like my GPA to be at least 2.75." and "By the end of the Fall. lwould like my GPA to be at least a 3.0." and so on. Breaking the goal up gives the chapter more chances on reaching success and to make adjustments and , in due time ,will facilitate the final goal
