She got engaged in February 2018. She told her supervisor shortly thereafter that she was getting married in India in October 2019 and would be taking three of her four weeks vacation then. During her performance evaluation meeting in March 2019, Rashmi's supervisor advised her that she had serious difficulty with Rashmi's vacation. Her supervisor advised that it was House Depot's policy that employees were only permitted to take at most 2 weeks vacation in a row. The supervisor advised that House Depot finds it too difficult to manage its employees' schedules if employees are permitted to take more than two weeks off in a row. Rashmi is stunned. Her wedding has already been planned and does not know what to do. Three days later. after calming down, Rashmi reaches out to you. the HR manager about her supervisor's comments
