In 2007, Yu and Zhang modified the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, to meas- ure resilience , which has acceptable reliability and validity among Chinese individuals. The CD-RISC is com- posed of 25 items with a score ranging from 0 to 100; assesses tenacity (13 items, a=0.88), strength (8 items, =0.80), and optimism (4 items, a= 0.60) . Each item is scored on a 5-point scale ranging from 0 (never) to 4 (always), with higher scores indicating greater resilience. Among the 25 items collected to explore the correlation n the present study, one item (had to act on a hunch) was rejected due to a low factor loading (absolute value 0.20).
