• Read Chapter 5 of the course text, Leadership - Theory, Application & Skill Development.

1. Select a leader you are familiar with or is of interest to you. This can be a corporate CEO, the leader of a charitable organization, or some other prominent leader. It can also be a leader you have worked with who is not well known.
2. Research the leader as needed and provide the following:
   1. A summary of the leader's strengths, leadership style, and accomplishments. Provide some examples of that leader's actions that demonstrate leadership style.
   2. There are seven types of power listed and discussed in Chapter 5 of the course text. From that list, choose two types of power that you believe would be most effective for the leader you selected. Explain why those types of power would work particularly well for the leader you choose.
3. Include a reference or references that provide details about the selected leader.
