You and some friends are planning to go to a party and have discussed arriving in style. The group of you have investigated hiring a luxury limousine which will cost 1400 AED between the four of you. Your father hears about your plans, and says he can take you in his car, and that it is not sensible to pay so much for so little. He says: If you really have that sort of money to waste why don't you sponsor a child in poverty in another country, or buy water purification tablets to be sent to people suffering from a natural disaster?" You are sitting in a caf and overhear a conversation between two mothers on the next table. One is saying how they have made a lot of sacrifices to save money for their children so that they can have a good start in life when they leave school and won't have to want for anything. The other mother says that she thinks this is unnecessary, and that it just spoils children, and does not make them appreciate the value of money and hard work
