Consider how you came to the decision for If you were Kim, would you work around the rules to get the repair done quickly or wade through the proper process including the time it takes? Explain your decision. Consider any real-life decisions you have made where the scenario had an ethical dimension. In general, how do you make an important decision that has an ethical dimension? What steps did you take to make your decision (sometimes these can be unconscious and made in seconds or minutes)? Take some time and reflect on your decision-making process.

Questions to consider as you build your step-by-step process:

• Consider a recent event, why did you chose one way over another? What led to your decision?
• Do you consult others?
• Do you meditate/pray/write/reflect?
• Do you look to precedents, rules, or societal guidelines?
