Read Nicholas Carr's essay "Is Google Making Us Stupid?" and write a 1000-word argument essay in response to his argument that the Internet is, in fact, making us stupid.

Requirements:

1. Refer to Carr's essay in every paragraph.

2. Use material from two recent essays from peer-reviewed scholarly journals on the effects of the Internet on its users. The essays should be published after the publication of Carr's essay (July/August 2008).

3. Cite one more reliable print or web source.

4. Deal with contrary arguments in the second paragraph of your essay.
