The case that I have come across talks about a doctor that was found guilty and charged with malpractice. This doctor was charged with performing wrong procedures on patients, diagnosing many patients with false diagnoses and many more. The different factors that led up to the investigation of this doctor were the fact that many people complained, causing many people to start asking questions which gave grounds for an internal investigation within the company and then legal got involved("Texas doctor found guilty of felony in medical malpractice case," 2021). The Board of health was notified and the more files of patients that were looked through, the more errors that were noticed and documented, which was then used to build a case against the doctor. The case was tried in a criminal court which at the end of it he was arrested(Beil, 2018). He was perfuming procedures that not only injured but also killed people.
