I asked him if he had been drinking and he said he had a few beers with a friend but was now on his way home. He also told me that the path through the park was a shortcut. I asked the man for ID and he produced his driver's license. I arrested the man because the man was drunk and had an open container of alcohol while being in the park after it was officially closed.
