Read the Players Quick Manual, and based on it, do the needed analysis, then submit the following on different tabs of an Excel Master Sheet.

You will be copying info from this sheet to the period analysis and all other submissions(save them as PDF files and submit them to Moodle)

1. Generate a list of the available Resource Types in the virtual resource pool. Explain each Type & what this resource would best perform (Tab 2).

2. Generate a list of all the Project Tasks (Excel). Which Resource Type (Category)do you think you need for each task? (Tab 3)

3. For each Period, of the 12 periods, take task by task and assign a resource that would fit this task (RAM file). This will give you a good idea of the "resource types" you need for every period. (Tab 4)

4. Based on this create a table showing resources needed per period (Hint: Check for the gaps in assigning a specific type. For example, if you need an MIS manager in P4 & P6 are you firing this resource in P5?? If yes, then what are doing with this redundant resource in P5??) (Tab 4)

5. Add the redundant resources (in a different color) (Tab 4)

6. Translate this table into a Resource Histogram with the resource needs for the 12 periods (Hint: Place your constant resources at the bottom for a more readable histogram) (Tab 4)

7. How is the Simulation Tool Allocating your budget between the 12 periods?- Tab 5

8. Knowing the Planned Cost / Period? What is the Simulation Tool planned Budget Left after each period?- Tab 5

9. Now we Need to Figure out the Network Diagram. Check the Period 0 MSP file extracted from the simulation Tool, and rearrange the tasks. You can also check the task info and dependencies (from the tasks description in the Simulation Tool), then create your Planned Network Diagram- Tab 6

10. What is your Planned Period Length (hours)? (Tab 7)
