1. Read The research design used by the authors

In the article:Healthy Choices for Every Body Adult Curriculum Improves Participants' Food Resource Management Skills and Food Safety Practices, the researchers used aquasi-experimental design. Eight intervention counties compared to eight other counties using independent-sample t tests and ANCOVA models to compare food resource management and safety practices. The sample sizes for the intervention group were n = 413 and for the comparison group, n = 113.

Using the t-test to compare the two groups of people for food safety techniques is appropriate. The researchers in question used an independent t-test to compare the groups. According to Siedleck and Bena (2021), an independent t-test can be used to compare two individual groups for the same dependent variable.
