SCRIPT

Counselor- "Alright welcome back everyone and thank you so much for coming. I thought our last session was really good. Emma, I wanted to point out that I thought you made some really good progress in talking about how you're trying to be different. Do you want to expand on that a little bit?

Emma- "Yeah um, I mean what I said the last session, I think it was good for me, but I don't know when I leave the session I just can't control it. Everything pisses me off. It's not like an easy switch. It just comes back no matter what I do.

Counselor- "I understand. Can anyone else relate to the way Emma's feeling?

Male- "I can't relate at all. It's just ridiculous. She's always going on to put something like, I don't understand. don't know where you're coming from.

Emma- " Okay. We don't have the same brain. Like obviously you have a different brain function than me because I know you have anger issues too.

Male-" Not like you, at least I can control them. I don't fly off the handle. Like you, wouldn't last a second in my life.

Emma-" It's because of people like you. You try to get me to freak out like this like it's out of my control. So what?

Male-" I barely said anything, and look at you, you're just freaking out again, like come on.

Emma-" See this is exactly what I'm talking about.
