READ THE STATEMENTS BELOW AND ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS: On 8 March 2022, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato' Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob mentioned that Malaysia will begin its transition to the endemic phase and reopen its borders from 1 April 2022. He claimed that the shift to endemic phase is one of the strategies that would allow Malaysians to return to near- normal life after nearly two years of battling the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, effective 1 April 2022, non- Malaysians may enter Malaysia without prior approval from the Malaysian authorities (i.e. MyTravelPass / MyEntry not required). As a result of this current development, students are required to: i) Analyze the reopening of the country's international borders to the tourism industry in Malaysia. ii) Evaluate the risks associated with reopening of the international borders to Malaysians. iii) Discuss how tourist behavior has changed after Covid-19 in Malaysia. iv) State and describe THREE (3) strategies on how to manage Covid-19 health crisis and economic recovery effort more effectively in Malaysia
