Read the worker classification material provided in the various posted handouts. Determine the proper worker classification for each of the cases presented below. Provide a brief explain your classification. Worker classifications for this assignment are: Statutory employee; statutory non-employee; common law employee; and independent contractor (an independent contractor is also known as self-employed) Debra is finishing her bachelor's degree in accounting. She just made a deal to do the bookkeeping and maybe the taxes for two physical education students who were partnering up to open a new gym. She had done quite a bit of work on QuickBooks on an internship so she felt pretty comfortable. She knew the job would take only a couple of hours a week so she told them she would do it for $400 per year "for the final financial", which was actually for the cost of the software, and $400 per month. Debra was surprised when they partners accepted her terms with no negotiation and even introduced her to another small business owner who was looking for a bookkeeper. She only had to drive to the gym once a month and thought those miles may be deductible on her taxes. Debra bought a copy of QuickBooks pro 2020 (with the payroll module) for her home computer What is Debra's proper worker classification
