read this excerpt below:

In my personal opinion, I believe Feuerstein was guided by ethics. The reason I believe it was ethics and not morals is since Feurstein believed it was the best decision to do is continue on paying his workers even when the company wasn't producing any money as well as him spending tons of money of rebuilding his family legacy since, he believed it was the right thing to do. I truly respect him since most people would do what the interviewers suggested which would be to go into retirement and enjoy the money. Feurstein has a unique set of morals, because what kind of person would just leave their hard working employees after they helped build his family legacy. Now a days it seems that so many people are money driven which isn't a bad thing, but they will always choose money over helping out other. In this world we have very few people with the same morals as Feurstein. I believe that even if Malden was a publicly traded company Feuerstein would've chosen the same decision he made. He for sure gets heavy critics for this for several reasons. One being greed, people don't think they should be accountable for others they are selfish and just care how they come out of a situation, so seeing such a kind gesture could motivate for such dreadful critics. Two, most businesses will most likely always want to make the for sure decision that they will see income, rather than loose it so of course others will judge, because what proprietor would want to even take the chances of seeing a company get close to failing? Lastly, its always easier to criticize a business decision when you aren't in their shoes, because haven't you ever noticed its super easy to solve other peoples problems but never your own. These are the reason I think he received so many critics.

after reading it, what's your opinion on this? (how do you feel?)
