El dixido de azufre producido por la combustin de azufre en el aire se absorbe en agua. A continuacin, el SO2 puro se recupera de la solucin mediante extraccin con vapor. Realice un diseo preliminar de la columna de absorcin. La alimentacin ser de 4750kgh de gas que contiene un 10%vv de SO2. El gas se enfriar a 20C. Se requiere una recuperacin del 97% del dixido de azufre.
Sugerencias: i) Para el diseo considere evaluar el nmero de etapas tericas, el dimetro de la columna, estimacin del Hoc y clculo de la altura de relleno; ii) Utilice el simulador COCO - ChemSep para facilitar sus clculos y/o haga uso de Excel y los datos de equilibrio del sistema.
