Recently China has developed a series of islands in the South China Sea. In essence, China has built islands where none have been before. What types of international problems could you foresee from this behavior? Is there anything about this action that could disrupt the trade in this region? If you were an advisor to our government, what action if any would you propose the United States take on addressing this issue, if any?
