Recently data was collected from 920 students asking them to evaluate instruction in their program specific classes. Multiple questions were asked including one that asked students to rate their instructor. Evaluators of student ratings are interested whether autonomy support and intrinsic motivation predict overall student ratings of the instructor, and whether one is a stronger predictor than the other. Attached are 30 randomly selected cases from the data of 920 student responses. Using regression, analyze these data to learn whether autonomy support and intrinsic motivation predict overall ratings of the instructor.
NOTE: I feel like both autonomy and intrinsic motivation are important to the overall evaluation, but I am not sure how to explain that using a regression.
