Antecedent Strategies :1. limit access preferred items before work time and provide access contingent on work completion.

2.Provide the student with choice of reinforcers and allow him to select which one he would like to work for.

3.During the work time use "first and then ", and" visual schedule" to show Ishan the work must be complete first before earning access the reinforcer he selected.

4.Start the work session with an easy task that Ishan already mastered, that is relatively quick and easy for him to complete. Provide verbal praise and a token for completing then task. Slowly incorporate more difficult tasks.

Reinforcement Strategies:. Use a 5-token board visual during work times to provide reinforcement through the work session. Allow Ishan to choose what he is working for and indicate that on the token board. Once he has earned his 5 tokens after each task, he earns access to the reinforcement.
