  1. We decide to expand the business and set up a small section of the building space for selling gardening items. We start by selling one product at first planters that cost $8 to be sold for $16 each. We order 20 planters on July 1st from Planters Wholesale Corporation and receive them with a bill on July 3rd. The bill is due for payment on August 1st.

  1. On July 4th, paid for the soil ordered last month in the amount of $1,900, by check to Speedy Delivery Company (see item j from June).

All other checks and deposits agreed with our records.

Following are the necessary adjusting entries for the month of July, all to be prepared as of July 31st:
