Recruiting participants is a huge challenge in a lot of research studies that uses human subjects (Participant Recruimlent for Research, n.d.). I should contact the Office of Research and Compliance: IRB Requirements for Selecting Participants to get permission to disperse my announcements. I will attempt to utilize open-ended questions. Participants will be asked the same questions, however, the questions are put into words where all replies are open-ended (Turner, 2010). To help with recruiting participants, I will locate a place where I can personally select my sample. The participants in this study will comprise of inhabitants in a community where one side of the town has a large occurrence of violence and the opposite side of the town where Violence rarely happens.
