Refer to the copy of 50 Great Ideas (available on course site), a collection of mini-cases from newspapers in the Americas, produced by Northwestern Universities' Media Management Centre. These are success stories on the innovative and sometimes risky ways newspapers are launching new strategies and telling stories in fun and interesting ways. Skim through the publication (it's not necessary to read all of it) and find three case studies that you think would work best in your local market. Explain the newspaper has done and detail why it's a good strategy for your area.
