- A Lighter Look at the Business Capstone Project(PDF)
Instructions:
Proposals should introduce and then set the scope of the project. If the project involves an industry partner, a letter of support from the partner is required in an appendix. Include all relevant content expected in a research proposal such as background information, aim/purpose of project, how the study will be conducted (i.e. data collection and analysis) and a timeline. The following diagram provides you with the main steps involved in conducting the Business Capstone project.
Your proposal must use and list at least six (6) references to theoretical literature sources. Identify specific data sources that you will collect data from and reference them. You may have up to ten (10) references to data sources.
The learning facilitator will review the proposals and advise on the practicality or feasibility of the proposals. If the learning facilitator believes that clearance from the university's Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) is needed, they will advise which if any of the proposals will need to be formally submitted for approval; it is the student's responsibility to obtain HREC approval for any project involving research on human subjects.
