Part One Any recorded message can be used for or against someone in court. Brainstorm and list the possible forms of messages that fit this criterion. Answer: Letters, memos, emails, anything on paper. Anything on the computer. Internet, blogging, email, Facebook, twitter, anything that is virtually recorded. Taped messages, recordings, media sources, i.e., video. Point out to the students that nothing is erased in the electronic world. Part Two Be sure to say exactly what you mean. Below there is a list of phrases that might be heard, written, or spoken in the business world. Analyze each one, as to how it could have legal or ethical consequences to it. 1. It has come to our attention. i.e., "be careful of the oven in the staff kitchen" 2.
