1. Advocate for increased funding for infrastructure connected to agriculture
According to the Socioeconomic Research Portal for the Philippines (SERP), the productivity of agriculture is significantly influenced by roads and electricity. To achieve such productivity it is important that HighLandfresh work hand-in-hand with the government to increase funding for further cutting-edge initiatives to advance sustainable agriculture techniques such as the aforementioned examples as well as equipment like autonomous tractors, drones, and automated harvesting.

2. Aid and support agricultural stakeholders in acquiring financing
An article from the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines stated that access to finance remains a perennial challenge for smallholder farmers to secure enough capital to raise farming productivity as well as improve their livelihoods.  WIth this, it is important to  support agricultural stakeholders to acquire and avail of programs such as Agri-Negosyo Loan Program (ANYO), Sikat Saka Program (SSP), and the Agrarian Production Credit Program (APCP).

3. Promote capacity-building efforts by encouraging youth involvement and agricultural entrepreneurship
HiLandfresh shall also support DA initiatives such as the Mentoring and Attracting Youth to Agribusiness (MAYA) program and Kapital Access for Young Agripreneurs (KAYA). MAYA program is a 24-week internship that aims to make entrepreneurs and future leaders out of young Filipinos. KAYA, on the other hand, is a loan program that offers credit of up to P500,000 to borrowers aged 18 to 30 years old.
