RELATIONAL VIOLENCE: VERBAL ABUSE Purpose: 1. Examine the manner in which communication might be used as a form of relational abuse and violence. Directions: 1. Relational violence includes a range of destructive behaviors aimed at other people, including aggressiveness, threats, violent acts, and verbal, psychological, or physical abuse.
