rephrase: The whole class- data I used to establish a baseline for my students' growth related to the learning goal was collected with a pre-assessment where I asked students to write on a piece of paper the meaning of who, what, when and where in Spanish. The data showed that 24% of the students know the meaning of who, 51% know what, 31% know when, and 41% of the students know where in Spanish. Then, I asked them: Quin es tu maestro de matemticas?, Qu msica escuchas?, Dnde vives?, and Cundo es tu cumpleaos?. 37% of the students answered the question: Quien es tu maestro de matematicas?, 51% answered the question: Que tipo de musica escuchas?, 20% answered: Donde vives?, and 20% responded to Cuando es tu cumpleanos?. Students then, were also required to formulate four who, what, when, and where questions on their own. 17% of the students asked a question using who, 17% asked a question using what, 20% asked a when question and 24% asked a where question.
