Wagner Act of 1935: provided a requirement of collective bargaining, and established the National Labor Relations Board Taft-Hartley Act of 1947: meant to curtail the power of labor unions created by the earlier Wagner Act Landrum-Griffin Act of 1959: meant to govern the internal operations of the various labor unions These laws have dealt with major changes of labor law in the United States, specifically controlled union activities versus employer retaliation, and include unfair labor practice cases; labor organization rights; court defined unfair labor practices; collective bargaining process; and strikes and picketing.
