Student: In the article in mentioned that corporates are pushing for women to be in management positions such as general manager, chief executive, or chief executive of human resources. Women get into these positions by 2 career years faster than men and companies are supporting the diversity of women in leadership roles. My thoughts on this article are quite conflicting because it's gender bias but also women are now being valued and able to push themselves into these top paying positions. I understand men back in the early 2000's was in control of these positions but the fact that these companies are pushing for women to take on these roles is an eye opener. |
