The DoD$$s mandate for the earned value management system is further evidence to the need in having a manageable, responsible and accountable avenue when handling taxpayer funds. Zhao & zir. $(2021),$ the system incorporates budget and time$-$to completion schedules, which enables the monitoring of rigor project progress timely making it possible to assess earned value accrued. This allows stakeholders to quickly pick up deviations, allowing timely actions to be taken in order avert risks towards successful completion of project operation.

Identification of an Earned Value Data for Predictive Analytics could be amongst opportunities for improvement that would help to identify in advance the potential problems so as deal with them prospectively. Allowing for more accurate and efficient accumulation and recording reported earned value can make management techniques even more effective.
