reply to the post "Using the SMART technique my goal for the future is to lead a larger law enforcement department. My goal is somewhat specific with some room as to the choice of departments. My future goal is also measurable as the department will be larger than my current one I lead so I can hopefully influence more future law enforcement in a good way. My goal is also attainable once I gain my BS at the end of this spring. My goal is realistic as I currently serve as a Chief so the experience will go a long way in this endeavor. Now for the last part my timeline for my goal is within 5 years as I have around 7 to be eligible to retire
