Transformational leadership is absolutely beneficial to most companies. With the characteristics of a transformational leader, it is easy to understand why because they are excited, positive, encouraging, and they are there to very perfectly see and drive the company to their goals. They can promise reward and offer different motivations. It is hard to say it is not beneficial to every company because every company benefits from leadership focused on the goals, but when I say that it is not, I think of warehouses, and manufacturing plants. Of course, there are still goals, but transformational leadership would be different. There is no place in a warehouse to offer different rewards and extra incentives, because if productivity does not get met, then it is just bad business regardless and the company suffers. Therefore, this is something that has to happen with or without transformational leadership.
Transformational leadership does contribute to employee performance. With constant motivation, good energy and proper incentives and a large amount of trust between the leadership and theemployees tend to pick up their energy and performance right along with them. Of course, the results will vary with different personalities. However, everyone can be motivated with the right something. It would be ideal to make the incompatible places, compatible with transformational leadership.
