I think that given the direction the economy seems to be heading in, enrollment at Clark will rise next term. The economy might be heading for a recession which means that some people will loose their jobs and other people will take pay cuts. Also, inflation is a big problem right now. The costs of basically all products are rising so people need to spend a larger percent of their income on necessities like food and housing. When people lose their jobs, start making less money, or need to spend more of their income on necessities, they may be forced to cut their spending in nonessential areas. Spending on education could be an area which some people choose to cut. Because Clark is a more affordable option compared to large 4 year universities, I think that enrollment will rise at Clark if the economy contracts and more people start looking for a more affordable option for higher education.
