reply to this discussion board in short 4 sentences stating something great about his post: In Chapter 11 of our textbook, we learned about 3 different models/managerial approaches to motivation. They are as follows, the Traditional model, the Human Relations model, and Human Resources model. The Traditional Model calls largely on the manger to supervise, break down tasks, and establish routines & procedures that they have to enforce. It is expected that people can tolerate work with decent pay and and a fair boss. It is also expected that people will produce up to the standard. To me, this model is pretty serious and just requires that people do what they are told to do to keep an operation moving. There is not any emphasis on human connection. This model I believe can be used for simpler projects but projects that are a bit larger, I believe, require connections with the people you are working with that are a bit more personal than receiving orders and then the subordinate carrying out those orders. In other words, I believe more complex work is best done when the people working together have a good connection with each other. This brings us to
