reply to When it comes to project management, a good project manager is one that will listen to knew suggestions, take advice on different matters, and admit when they are wrong. A project manager who is arrogant will not adhere to these values. As such, project teams in which there is an arrogant project manager, there will be times where the team will suffer. This could happen due to low morale, miscommunication, or a toxic work environment. In the article by Thomas Juli, the author lists out the premise that a good project manager will be one that is a leader first and project manager second. In the article, the author states, "Projects usually if not always involve teams. Teamwork is at the core of every project. This implies that project leadership is and has to be team leadership, too" (Juli, 2011). I wholeheartedly agree with this sentiment. If you as a project manager are not creating an environment that is based around teamwork and leadership, then the entire project can be put at risk.
