1. Make a list of activities to process an order that consists of a main course (sandwich, pizza, burger, etc.), a drink and a side order (3 items on the menu) for each restaurant. Record the time required for each process, from placing the order to receiving the order.

2. Which activities do the two restaurants have in common? Which activities are different across the two establishments?

3. Is the number of activities related to the time required to process the order? Is the number of activities related to the price charged to customers? Explain both after answering yes or no.

4. Make recommendations for improving the processes that would decrease the cost of the operations or improve service without incurring additional costs.
