The cash was for interest earned on investments and $86,200 in accrued interest. 4. Expenses accrued for the period were management and administration, $378,866; maintenance and distribution, $724,393; and treatment plant, $730,843. 5. Cash receipts for customer deposits totaled $2,555. 6. Cash collections on customer accounts totaled $3,098,640, of which $220,585 was from the General Fund. 7. Cash payments for the period were as follows: Accounts Payable, $1,539,751; interest (which includes the interest payable), $416,797; bond principal, $391,000; machinery and equipment, $570,299; and return of customer deposits, $891. 8. A state grant amounting to $464,063 was received to help pay for new water treatment equipment. 9. Accounts written off as uncollectible totaled $9,783. 10. The utility fund transferred $781,624 in excess operating income to the General Fund. 11.
