Part B:Develop a Design Thinking Response

Using the Design Thinking or Human Centred Design models discussed in this module, develop a plan to create new solutions to this socio-legal problem.Develop a plan that addresses each of the stages of the model (whichever alternative version you select).

Remember that you are not finding a solution in this challenge - you are developing a process that is designed to create solutions.Of course understanding some of the potential solutions may guide the design of this process, but you do not want the process to determine the result - the tail to wag the dog.

Things to consider:

• How will potential solutions be evaluated in the test stage?How will the long term success of solutions be evaluated?
• How will you develop solutions that are sustainable?If ongoing resources are going to be required, how will funding be secured during this process?
• How will you identify forms of privilege and barriers of access to justice?
• What is the role of professional bodies in this process?How might ethical and professional codes interact with the process?
• You can use theories of law and justice that you have discussed in this unit as lenses to better understand some of the issues.
