Research one of the regulations identified in the presentation materials (i.e. HIPAA, GDPR, SOX) and find an article discussing a company or organization that was fined for violating the regulation. Include a brief description of the violation, what happened to the organization, the amount of the fine, and a description of any remedial actions taken by the organization to ensure future compliance. Do you think the fine was appropriate given the circumstances? Identify some compliance initiatives the company could put in place to prevent future violations.
