Research (Required for paper): Chapter 1 Create an experiment to change, strengthen, or weaken a behavior of yours, your child(ren), roommate, or friend. Set up your experiment by identifying the behavior you want to change, forming a hypothesis, testing your hypothesis by collecting data for at least 2 weeks, and drawing conclusions based on your data. Describe the problem concretely and precisely, making sure you are able to measure it. Tell me why you selected this behavior. What have you done in the past to change this behavior and what were the results then? Develop a hypothesis about what you think the end result will be. Collect data on your behavior for at least 2 weeks. Please record your data and include the actual data in your project (a table, graph, chart, etc). You should include reinforcement and/or punishment to help change your behavior and describe what you will do each time you perform the behavior. Record your improvement and the end result. Summarize the end results, what you found, what they mean, anything you could or should have done differently, and if your hypothesis was correct. Some examples of behavior you can change are study habits, reducing a child's velling. teaching a doa to do a trick. etc. Follow the steps in the book to complete FOCL
