Researchers are interested if kids who participate in different types of extracurricular activities report different levels of happiness. 24 middle school students were recruited for this study. Students were assigned to groups based on their chosen extracurricular activity: sports, theater, dance, debate team, choir, and academic games. There were 4 students in each activity group. Each student was given a survey about their happiness level which was scored on a scale from 1-10.
