Researchers surveyed CEOs from 94 credit unions, along with 517 members of their top management teams. They found that CEOs who had a transformational leadership style were more likely to have honest tellers who were less likely to steal top management teams with high goal importance congruence management team members who were "under the spell" of their CEOs and regarded their CEOs with awe and "rock star" status management team members who regarded the CEO as "one of us" and as "a regular guy (or gal)
