As a member of the US House of Representatives, Representative Green must quickly assess and vote on numerous legislative proposals. Currently, Green is considering an extension to the Residential Energy Efficient Property Credit. Greens staff has retrieved Internal Revenue Service data to analyze the credit utilization by state. Based on that data, the ratio of the Residential Energy Tax Credit amount to the Taxable Income Amount by State has been calculated. The representative wants to better understand how the credit is used by constituents prior to signing on to the bill.
