Classmate: I have worked similar jobs in the years I have worked with a couple of outliers. For the most part, I have enjoyed my jobs and the atmosphere that comes with them. When I worked in a restaurant job it could get stressful but that is normal for fast-paced jobs. What made a difference was getting recognition for putting in the work. "Celebrating small successes and reinforcing positivity can help sustain motivation and build endurance for the change as well." (Page, 2019) It can make all the difference when you feel that a manager appreciates your work. It feels that in recent years more behavior isn't held to a higher standard which doesn't have to be royalty-type behavior but in the workplace, some words/actions should be avoided.
